Advocacy Coordinator (Job Ref 18-08)

Salary: £ 24,549 (Pro-rata) -    18.5 hours per week    -    Permanent Contract

Based at Young Devon, Newton Abbot - with flexibility to cover Devon

This is an exciting role which will require the successful applicant to:

1)    Co-ordinate a team of advocates who work alongside young people with additional needs; supporting them to make decisions, have their voice heard and obtain services they need. 

2)    Co-ordinate other advocates and deliver advocacy to young people.

3)    You and your team will prepare young people for their transition to adulthood and/or adults services, ensuring it is a supportive and positive experience.  

These are high profile and prestigious roles and the successful candidates will need to be flexible, adaptable to change and have a good knowledge of participation and advocacy.
