From Feb 1st 2017 Devon Youth service will become DYS Space Ltd. We are proud that the existing staff team have successfully set up a Public Sector Mutual organisation, and secured a 3-year contract from Devon County Council, to ensure that young people can continue to receive the high quality services they are used to.

Our vision statement reads: Unlocking potential with young people and their communities. This is underpinned by a set of values we aim to operate by with each other and with our stakeholders. Whilst these values, respect, integrity, accountability, collaboration, determination and dynamic, are a self explanatory set of words, we are determined to live and breathe them as we develop our organisation and future partnerships

From our bases in Barnstaple, Bideford, Exeter, Exmouth, Newton Abbot, Okehampton, Tiverton, Dawlish & Totnes we will deliver a range of services, including : Open Access Youth Work, Targeted Support, Alternative Education Services (Chances), Community Youth Work Support & the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.

These are very exciting times for us and our partners. The  stability that this new contract brings will have a positive impact on the outcomes for young people in Devon and the many trusted and respected partners who work alongside us to ensure that Youth work in Devon is the best it can be. Our partners should feel little change of service, with our main base remaining as The 100 Club in Exeter 01392 662112. If you would like to contact us for more information or to discuss any element of our 'spin-out' from Devon County Council then please email info@spacepsm.org
