 Introduction:

The Devon Children and Families Partnership (DCFP) merged the functions of the Devon Safeguarding Children Board (DSCB) and the Children, Young People and Families Alliance (Alliance). Devon LSCB’s statutory duties are now discharged through this new partnership.

 VOYC Devon has lobbied for there to be a direct route into the new partnership for the VCS. This has resulted in the setting up of a new Voluntary and Community Sector Reference Group with its own terms of reference. We hope that the VCS will take this chance to have your views heard by coming along to get your voice heard.

 The meeting on the 16th November will be an opportunity to:

  • Discuss your role and avenues of influence in the Devon Children and Families Partnership;
  • Give input to and discuss what you would like to see from the future Childrens Plan that is currently being developed;
  • Discuss the emerging priorities for work with children, young people and families in Devon including proposing other potential priorities;
  • Help steer the development of this stakeholder engagement process.
