ESOL Tutor - Learning and Development Lead - Sunrise Diversity

Salary :  £8,704 (£26,083 FTE).

This is a permanent role of 10 hours per week, and involves teaching advanced ESOL classes, supporting learners to reach their goals in employment and/or education. The candidate will liaise with local colleges, employers, and ESOL providers to develop and plan relevant opportunities for students and work closely alongside our ESOL Project Coordinator and team of ESOL volunteers.

As Sunrise has recently increased capacity in our ESOL team in the last year, this is an exciting opportunity as we develop a coordinated programme across North Devon & Torridge alongside key partners such as the Devon County Council Resettlement team, The Pickwell Foundation, PETROC and Learn Devon.

The role will be part of a wider team at Sunrise Diversity who provide advocacy support, groups and activities, events and training to people from diverse backgrounds as well as working towards an overall aim of creating a more welcoming community for people from all backgrounds, and ending discrimination.
