School Counsellor - Great Torrington School

Salary: £17.12 to £19.00 per hour (NJC Grade F)

Hours: 11 hours per week, term time only

Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a school counsellor to provide expert counselling support to pupils across all key stages.  You will be a caring and approachable individual, with excellent interpersonal skills, who will help pupils to overcome emotional, personal, and social barriers to learning.

The successful applicant will be a qualified and experienced counsellor/ therapist.  A diploma in Counselling Children and Young People is desirable, and you should ideally be registered with a professional organisation that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) e.g. MBACP or MNCS, and abide by their ethical Code of Practice.
