We have an exciting opportunity for a peer educator to be part of our digital team.  To assist Space staff in the delivery of a balanced youth work curriculum in our online youth club service. You will work to support meeting the needs of young people aged 13 to 19 (and exceptionally ages 11-25) online and on occasion within a physical centre, utilising the digital and physical technologies we offer. Duties will be carried out with support. This role will involve working evenings online with the occasional daytime, weekend and/or physical setting at events such as gaming arenas, community events, or working with other teams. 

To support the delivery of youth club sessions and workshops designed to meet the needs of young people. To ensure a warm and friendly space and contribute to delivering fun and educational activities that add value to our offer.  

About the job

Location: Digital Team Online - access to Space Youth Centres, some home working - open to negotiation

Employment type: One year fixed term contract

Hours of work: 8 - 10 hours per week to be negotiated but will include evening work

Salary: JNC: unqualified scale pt 3 - 4, (£18,944.00 - £19,257.00 - FTE)
