We have an amazing opportunity for a skilled youth worker to continue the ongoing success of our Youth Work delivery at Tiverton-Youth Centre. Tiverton youth clubs are a busy and dynamic environment. You will be working with an experienced team who have great connections with the local community and services. 

About the job

Employment type: Full time, fixed one year with possible potential to extend. Also available as a secondment

Hours of work: 37 Hours per week

Salary: JNC: unqualified scale pt 12 - 13, qualified scale pt 14 - 17 (£24,651 - £29,291 FTE)

About You:  

  • Experienced youth worker or confident that you have the transferable skills required for the demands of the post

  • Passion for supporting and advocating for the rights of young people

  • Creativity and solution focused thinking

  • Respectful with excellent empathy and kindness and good emotional intelligence to effectively support young people

  • Ability to multitask, set priorities and reachout when you need help and support

  • High commitment to continuous professional practice

  • A reflective practitioner
