Description :

We are seeking a dynamic, visionary, and enthusiastic CEO to lead our organisation at this exciting time. The successful candidate will be passionate about helping bereaved children, young people, and their families, and will have previous management experience.

You will lead and organise the charity, taking responsibility for operations, fund raising and financial management. You will work closely with the Trustees to develop, refine, and deliver our organisational strategy, identifying and implementing best practices from across the sector.

You will be an excellent communicator and will champion the charity both publicly and internally. You will take the lead on expanding the staff team as well as managing FiG’s volunteers, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional service to bereaved families.

A proactive attitude and positive approach to your work will be vital in what we hope will be a rewarding and challenging role.

Families in Grief is a childhood bereavement charity, supporting children, young people and their families who have experienced the death of someone close to them. We help those living in North Devon and the Torridge area to feel better and less alone in their grief.  We are a team of four part-time staff (including the CEO), and 18 volunteers including trustees.
