We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our team.  This is a new post which has become necessary from the growth of Space.  We have approx 125 employees across our 9 sites with a policy of developing our own staff.  For the right candidate we would foresee this role developing into a more senior role as Space continues to grow

About the job

Location: One of our centres (negotiated with successful candidate) with some home working

Employment type: Permanent

Hours of work: 37 hrs per week (30+ could be considered)

Salary: £31 - £33K FTE

What is the role

  • Responsible for HR processes for Space

  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop excellent HR practice for Space

  • Monitor and review policies to keep up to date with changing legislation and practice

  • Support line managers in implementing HR practice

  • Develop team and self to move into more responsible roles within Space

  • Attendance at the annual Space engagement event on a weekend and occasional Saturday or evening training will be required

About You:  

  • CIPD L5 or equivalent

  • 3 - 4 years of recent experience in a similar or related role

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn digital HR management systems

  • Interest in continually improving processes, practice, the team and self to achieve excellence

  • Flexibility to work at a number of our sites along with the opportunity to work from home

  • Flexibility on daily working times where there is a business need
