Location: Bideford, Barnstaple, Okehampton, Exeter,  Exmouth, Newton Abbot, Tiverton and Totnes

Employment type: Permanent.

Hours of work: 10.5 hours per week (3 evenings) at each centre

Salary: JNC: unqualified scale pt 5 - 6, qualified scale pt 7 - 10 (£23,496.00 - £26,341.00 - FTE)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Support Worker to work as part of our online delivery of digital youth services. We are looking for someone who is able to work in an online environment and willing to learn the skills to deliver youth work in the online world. The work will be part-time, permanent, 10.5 hours per week, and will include working 3 evenings per week from a SPACE youth centre and occasional weekends. There will be an expectation to be able to deliver face to face youth work in open-access sessions as well. Come and join a team of youth workers delivering high-quality youth work. Learn new skills - training and support will be provided.

What is the role

  • Supporting youth work in a variety of settings; predominantly online, with centre and street based settings appropriate

  • Being collaborative and a team player 

  • Supporting the design  and delivery of the youth work curriculum and programmes

  • Planning, evaluating and evidencing youth work
