We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer and Youth Work Assessor. This role is between 20 to 25 hours per week and the location will be at one of our eight Devon Youth Centres with some home working.

Salary: £24,416 to £27,681 full time equivalent (JNC)

What is the role

  • Delivery of youth work learning sessions for the Level 2 and Level 3 Youth Work Qualifications

  • Assessing learners on their qualification pathways

  • Coordination of our Level 2 and Level 3 policy, practice and procedures

  • Delivering SPACE training packages

  • Support managers with the learning and development on the SPACE Step In programme

  • Work with the Youth Work training team to develop a business for plan for delivering the Youth Work qualifications to external organisations

  • Plan and evaluate work for the purpose of learning and improving practice

  • Training resources management
